The IBDA was created to fill a gap in the communication and information exchange processes between industry actors and banknote designers. Despite the collective recognition of the importance of banknote design by our industry, banknote designers tend not to receive adequate levels of information, support, training and news.
In order to improve the vital flow of relevant and up toi date information to banknote designers the IBDA has established a set of concrete objectives that will define and drive all activities and projects. These are:
